Class of 2013 Welcome event – April 01, 2012
Around 15 people participated in this event (7 alums and 8 students of co13). Students had a casual Q & A session with alums and not only learnt about their experiences at ISB but also got some ideas on how to approach and make the best use of the coming year.
Kolkata:
Class of 2013 Welcome event - April 06, 2012
Around 30 people attended this event (10 alums and 20 students of co 13). Alums shared ‘amazing’ stories/experiences with the new class to soothe their nerves regarding work load, fun and madness at the ISB.

PGPMAX Networking event – April 06, 2012
Almost 47 alums of the founding class participated in this networing event along with their families to celebrate their graduation day. The evening saw everyone in a cheerful mood while Dr. Mahesh Joshi delighted everyone with his wonderful voice. He along with his musicians performed some melodious tunes of evergreen Kishore Kumar.
Graduation day - April 07, 2012
The ceremony commenced with the Graduation Procession led by Ajit Rangnekar, Dean, ISB. Rows of students dressed in their traditional graduation regalia sat together soaking in the words of wisdom from the esteemed guests. The Chief Guest Raghuram Rajan addressed the gathering and awarded graduation certificates to the 574 students of PGP and 57 students of the PGPMAX.
Orientation Week - April 14 - 22, 2012
O – Week was organized simultaneously at both campuses and included a number of team building activities, presentations by various departments, fun activities, quiz competitions, alum interaction sessions and theme parties. The week long activities gave students an opportunity to get to know the campus and meet fellow students, alums and staff members. Around 60 alums attended the O week at both Hyderabad and Mohali and shared their experiences at both formal and informal forums.
Leadership Development Programme - April 19 & 20, 2012 – Hyderabad;
April 29, 2012-Mohali
The Leadership Development Programme aimed at providing PGP students with an in-depth understanding of their strengths and areas of improvement so as to help them develop into effective leaders. The program provided each student with a thorough analysis of their pre-existing skills and dispositions and was designed in such a way that it had a mix of training methods: classroom teaching, high fidelity business simulations and one-to-one coaching sessions with alums across classes. Around 65 alums helped facilitate this session at both campuses.
Chapters will hold various events across cities over the next one year. A calendar of events is below:
