- Shalini Pillai Banerjee emerged as the winner of the Women Entrepreneur Quest in December 2012, which is designed to promote early stage women driven Startups
- Nalin Jain has been appointed as the President and Chief Executive Officer of GE Transportation in India. He took up this responsibility in January 2013, in addition to his existing role as the Head of GE Aviation
- Kutti Krishnan and Jyothi were blessed with a baby boy on January 2, 2013.
- Richcore Life Sciences, founded by Subramani Ramachandrappa in 2005, has raised $ 5.4 million (Rs 30 crores) from Fidelity Growth Partners India (FGPI), a PE arm of Fidelity International.
