ISB student offered annual pay of Rs 39 lakh : The Indian School of Business (ISB)has so far seen the highest domestic job offer on its campus at Rs 39 lakh from a private equity firm, according to two recruiters familiar with the development. The highest domestic offer made last year was of Rs 40 lakh. V K Menon, senior director, Career Advancement Services at ISB, declined to give any details regarding the final placements.

It also recorded the highest “Salary percentage increase” among all the top 100 schools. This is the fourth successive year that the ISB has featured in the top 20, reinforcing its reputation as a world class institution.
Cambridge’s Judge reaches out to aspiring entrepreneurs : Cambridge University launches post-graduate diploma in entrepreneurship : Cambridge University’s Judge Business School is building on its strength in entrepreneurship to launch a one-year postgraduate diploma in the subject. The part-time programme will begin in September 2011, and will require participants to spend three weeks on the Judge campus during the year and complete 10 hours of online learning a week in addition.
CAT results declared ; eight candidates score 100 percentile : The process of admissions to the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) has begun, with the announcement of the Common Admission Test (CAT) results across the country today. The test was aced by 27 engineers, of whom eight scored 100 and 19 a 99.9 percentile. Of them, 25 were boys and one girl each from Kerala and Andhra Pradesh.
