Reflections: ISB Canvas turns one

We began with an empty canvas last year. But in the last 12 months we have coloured it with images of our School and we are still far from completing the picture! Along the way, our readership has grown to over 10,000 and we hope to reach more readers in the coming years. Through images, profiles of alumni, articles on campus happenings, and information on forthcoming events, we have tried to capture a snapshot of the School that month. While our goal was to showcase the happenings at the School, this exercise also helped us uncover many interesting facets: we learnt about some unconventional paths chosen by our alumni. Dhimant Parekh and Anuradha Kedia, from the PGP Class of 2007 chose to highlight only positive news in their website, “The Better India.” In our last issue, we spoke with Viren Rasquinha from the PGP Class of 2009, whose company Olympic Gold Quest prepares India’s sportspersons for the Olympic Games. Four of the sportspersons supported by OGQ won medals for India; we are very proud of the ISB connection in the medals that India won. Along the way, we also understood why students love our library (it is more than just the fondness for Asterix comics!) and why executives value our exec education programmes. As we brought excerpts from speaker sessions to you, we marvelled at the diversity of ideas showcased at our School. From writers and policymakers to academics and industrialists – we learned from their life experiences and hope that you enjoyed reading about them too.
