Global Social Venture Competition
March 8 –10, 2012

This year’s Global Social Venture Competition (GSVC) event will play host to 18 teams from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Kenya and Nigeria who will compete for two slots in the global finals at Haas, Berkeley. The competition includes two rounds of presentations, an elevator pitch and a poster presentation; as well as a cultural evening by all participating teams. The Artisan Mela will once again feature crafts-people from across India, who will exhibit a range of beautiful products and textiles.

Intellecap will host their bootcamp for “Sankalp” social entrepreneur award winners to coincide with the GSVC.

Executive Education: Reinventing Marketing for Chief Marketing Officers
March 14-17, 2012

Through this programme, the participant can interact with faculty and peers who have been researching and experimenting with new ways to profitably grow in dynamic, hyper-competitive times. Topics include: generating breakthrough consumer insights, exercising the full potential of social networks and other digital platforms, engaging customers with interactive media which cost less, measuring marketing programme effectiveness, and stimulating an innovative environment.

Practitioner's Workshop for Enterprise Creation and Growth

This workshop will provide an overview of the important practical concepts of entrepreneurship development, on starting and growing a business “the right way” by focusing on marketing, entrepreneurship, management, finance, team building, intellectual property rights, challenges of going digital and legalities of enterprise creation. This workshop is being organised by the Wadhwani Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (WCED) at ISB.

ISB-Ivey Global Case Competition 2012

Deadline: June 20, 2012 

The Centre for Teaching, Learning, and Case Development at the Indian School of Business (ISB), in partnership with Richard Ivey School of Business, The University of Western Ontario announces the ISB-Ivey Global Case Competition 2012. This competition, supported by European Association for Management Development (EFMD) and Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) has been hosted for the last three years by ISB.
