Come September: Scholar Begins FPM Journey

In the midst of the year-long tenth anniversary celebrations, the School has created another milestone in her history. The Founding Class of ISB’s new Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) is all set to embark on the course this September.

Saipriya Kamath feels privileged to be part of the pioneer batch of scholars. “The admissions interview, itself, taught me so much that I did not have to think too much about joining ISB. It was wonderful to interact with the professors.”

Her interest in academia was stirred whilst coaching college students in engineering mathematics, something she enjoyed immensely. Besides that, she was also involved in an initiative to equip school dropouts with basic soft skills so that they would gain employment. Combining her love for numbers and teaching, she decided to pursue the FPM, where she will read Finance. Post FPM, her dream is to lecture at a renowned university and get published in a top-tier journal.

In addition to academic pursuits, Saipriya hopes to continue her hobby of long-distance running by starting a club at ISB for students with similar interests.

She also looks forward to visiting Singapore in January where she will interact with peers from INSEAD, as part of the programme.
