Artha – ISB’s capital markets conclave held in Mumbai
Artha – ISB’s capital markets conclave brought together some of the best minds at the forefront of industry, policy and academia. The event was co-organised by students of Finance Club at ISB and alumni. The theme of the Conclave for this year was “India in a Sweet Spot? - Initiatives required to emerge as a Break Out Nation”. Atul Satija, ISB alumnus to set up gurukuls for the underprivileged
Atul Satija travelled to Beijing more than 30 times, yet he never visited the area’s biggest tourist attraction, the Great Wall of China. “I’m neither a traveller nor a foodie. I don’t want to see the world, or enjoy the experiences money can buy,” says the 39-year-old. His ambitions are to work towards sustainably lifting one million Indians out of poverty by 2020. Don Mohanlal, ISB alumnus is next President and CEO of Synergos, a global nonprofit organisation
Don Mohanlal, a PGPMAX alumnus, a globally respected nonprofit leader, and long-time friend of the Synergos Institute, will join the organization as President and CEO on December 1, 2015. Peggy Dulany, Synergos’ Founder and Chair, says “Mohan deeply shares our values of collaboration, equity, compassion and integrity. He’s a tremendous addition to our team.”

Sriram Venkatraman, ISB Alumnus to join Flipkart as CFO
E-commerce marketplace, Flipkart, has appointed Sriram Venkataraman as the CFO for its commerce platform. Speaking on the appointment, Sanjay Baweja, Chief Financial Officer, Flipkart, said, "We are very excited to have Sriram on board with us.
