“Elon Musk : Tesla, SpaceX, and the Quest for a Fantastic Future by”, Ashlee Vance

Description: C:\Users\10537\Desktop\51lwGdYA0tL._SX329_BO1,204,203,200_.jpgOff the many books written on Elon Musk, I find this book to be the most insightful and full of fascinating anecdotes about Elon Musk, his vision and his companies. Being an eccentric genius in Silicon Valley and because of his obsessive perfectionist attitude, there have been plenty of comparisons with Steve Jobs in popular media. After reading this book, the reader will appreciate the fact that Elon Musk is a true visionary in his own right and his companies are out to change the world for good. All in all, this book is an enjoyable portraiture of one of the world’s most enigmatic businessmen.

“Thinking, Fast and Slow”, by Daniel Kahneman

In one word, this book is simply BRILLIANT! The brilliance of this book is that, it exposes several of our own cognitive biases and after reading this book you become self aware of your own biases.  Kahneman presents many instances about the decisions we make and how often they end up being the "wrong" ones! It is a must read for people interested in behavioral economics, financial investing or just plain interested in the working of the human mind.

"Disney War", by James B. Stewart

Description: C:\Users\10537\Desktop\download.jpgGiven my interest in corporate history, I picked up this book which didn’t disappoint. The author, James Stewart has done an excellent job in chronicling the two decades of Disney under the stewardship of Michael Eisner and the boardroom battle between Eisner and Roy Disney that ultimately led to Eisner being ousted as CEO. When you are reading this book you cannot shake the feeling of being in a Shakespearian play with all the drama and subterfuge. Thoroughly Enjoyable and Unputdownable!
