ISBAA Hyderabad Chapter Elections
December 1, 2007
Elections for the positions of President, Treasurer & Secretary of
the Hyderabad Chapter of the ISB Alumni Association will be held on
December 1, 2007 at the ISB.
This will be the first in the series of Chapter elections across the
country. Owing to several issues that cropped up in the web-based
voting system used in the past - mails not reaching, unique voting
link to be used – it was decided to try out in-person voting for the
Hyderabad elections.
Voting in each chapter will only be open to alumni who are
registered in that chapter as on November 15, 2007. All alumni are
requested to update their contact information on the alumni website
(www.isb.edu/alumni),
especially the Current Residential Address (under Contact Details)
which automatically determines chapter affiliation.

TiE – ISB Connect
November 14 – 16, 2007
The TiE-ISB Connect is a joint initiative of TiE, Hyderabad Chapter
and the Wadhwani Centre for Entrepreneurship Development at the ISB,
Hyderabad. It is a forum that brings together early stage venture
capitalists, start up and growth stage entrepreneurs and
academicians, on a common platform to interact and help build
successful enterprises.
This year we have significantly up-scaled the scope and magnitude of
the event, with discussion tracks on diverse sectors including The
Mobile Convergence, Life sciences and Health Care Security and
Biometrics, Retail Industry ,Real Estate and Infrastructure & New
Media and Entertainment.
Each track will have a keynote address by a successful entrepreneur,
a review of global trends in the sector by an analyst, and a panel
discussion by venture capitalists and successful entrepreneurs on
sector opportunities. Entrepreneurs seeking opportunities in these
sectors may attend the event as delegates. The entrepreneur
community can also benefit from two specific opportunities:
-
NEA-IUV Business Plan Showcase (November 14) – Presenting your
project to potential investors.
-
Jumpstart your venture (November 14) – Workshop preparing the
aspiring entrepreneur for an exciting journey
