Dr Krishna Tanuku to head Wadhwani Centre for Entrepreneurship Development
Effective July 17, 2008, Krishna Tanuku has taken over as the Executive Director of the WCED succeeding Professor Chandrasekar who has been heading the Wadhwani Centre for Entrepreneurship Development at ISB for over three years now. Under his stewardship, WCED has made significant strides in its initiatives. Professor Chandrasekhar will continue to be associated with the ISB, on part time basis, in setting up the Centre for Real Estate and Urban Infrastructure.
Tanuku has been associated with the ISB for close to three years now. He has been an Executive Advisor working with the Executive Directors of the various Centres within the ISB to facilitate the alignment of the CoEs strategy initiatives and operational plans with the overall ISB strategy. In addition, he has been working closely with the School IT Advisory Committee. He has advised students on projects and specifically worked with the Net Impact and EVC clubs.

Krishna is a PhD from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He has had an illustrious corporate career spanning over 25 years. Amongst others, he was the founding CEO of AT&T India, NCR India and the CEO of Bell Labs. He was also a founding member of American Chamber of Commerce and was elected as its co-chairman
for five consecutive years.

Charting The New Age Of Innovation
Dr M S Krishnan, Professor of Business Information Technology at the University of Michigan Business School, was recently at the Indian School of Business (ISB) to discuss findings from his book The New Age of Innovation, which he has co-authored with Professor CK Prahalad, Paul and Ruth McCracken Distinguished Professor of Strategy, University of Michigan.

CK Prahalad Shares Vision of ‘India at 75’
CK Prahalad, Paul and Ruth McCracken Distinguished Professor of Strategy, University of Michigan, and one of the most influential thinkers on Business Strategy, addressed the community at the Indian School of Business (ISB). The theme of his talk was his vision of ‘India at 75’. The Confederation of Indian Industry’s (CII) ‘India at 60’ celebrations at New York saw the genesis of this vision, which focusses on what India can accomplish in the next 15 years, and more importantly, what it will take to accomplish these goals during that period.

Professor Amit Nandkeolyar
Professor Amit Nandkeolyar has joined the ISB as an Assistant Professor in the Organisational Behaviour
Area. Nandkeolyar holds a PhD in Organisational Behaviour and Human Resources from University of Iowa. He obtained his MBA in Strategic Management from Nanyang Technological University. Prior to this he completed his BE in Electrical Engineering from NIT, Durgapur. His research interests lie in team learning, individual adaptation, Organizational Adaptation and decision making.

Professor Arun Pereira
Professor Arun Pereira, Associate Professor, John Cook School of Business, Saint Louis University has joined the ISB as Associate Professor in the Marketing Area. He has done his MBA in Management Science from University of Houston and also holds a PhD in Business Administration from the same. His research interests are focussed towards International Marketing, New Product Management and Marketing Decision Making. Professor Pereira is a visiting faculty at ISB for a year. |

Professor Sumit Agarwal
Professor Sumit Agarwal, Financial Economist, Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago has joined the ISB as a Visiting Associate Professor in the Finance Area. He has been an Assistant Professor in the Finance Department both for De Paul and George Washington Universities. His research interests are Financial Institutions, Household Finance, Behavioral Economics, Capital Markets, Corporate Finance, Law and Economics, Financial Education, and Real Estate Finance. Agarwal holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Wisconsin and is visiting ISB for a year.

Professor Ananth Srinivasan
Professor Ananth Srinivasan, Professor of Information Systems
and Digital Commerce, University of Auckland Business School has
joined the ISB as a Visiting Scholar. He has done his MBA in
General Management from Illinois State University. His research
interests lie in Database Management, Decision Making,
Electronic Commerce, Enterprise Systems, Information Modelling,
Object-oriented technology, and Software Engineering. Professor
Srinivasan is visiting ISB till February 28, 2009.
