This article attempts to make the TEP students (who are aspiring entrepreneurs), about the relevant government schemes at how the Start-Up India has paved the way through the Indian startup ecosystem. The movement has scaled up by providing access to funding, policy simplification and new initiatives around academia-industry collaboration. We hope this article would guide the students in their startup journey.

TOP PERFORMING COLLEGES

Based on the overall scores achieved by the TEP participants in the TEP course components till date, the top among the participating colleges of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana regions are recognised in this section.

TEP 2017-19: BEST STUDENT AMBASSADORS

A student ambassador is a TEP champion at their college which includes leading and inspiring the other participants. The student ambassadors who have been the most prompt, disciplined and responsive are recognised in this section.

TEP 2017-19: INNOVATION OF THE MONTH

“Navigator Shoe, helps the visually impaired people to efficiently detect the obstacles in the range of 1-2 meters and gives a feedback through a vibration once the obstacle is detected. It is a stand alone device and doesn’t need any internet or smart phone connectivity, the sensors, processor and the motor are all installed in the shoe. This device intends to help the visually impaired people to have a safer and smoother navigation in public places.”
