Datathon
IIDS hosted its second Datathon Case Competition in 2023. The case competition witnessed enthusiastic participation by 250 members. Working professionals in data science/ analytics participated in the Datathon. The event offered corporate and student teams an opportunity to leverage the knowledge of Advanced Analytics & Data Science to provide business solutions that encourage 'Transformational decision-making.'
Each team had to offer a business solution to the problem statement given to them.
IIDS had provided masked data sets for the model development of the business problem. The winners
of the Datathon were declared by a jury comprising Mr. K. Kanish, Prof. Avik Sarkar, Mr. Vineet Kumar and Mr. G. Arun

About ISB Institute of Data Science
The ISB Institute of Data Science conducts research and imparts education in business analytics and data science. It designs & delivers programmes for working professionals in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science applications in business decision-making. As part of our outreach activities, IIDS organizes Conferences, Masterclasses, Workshops, Panel Discussions, and Workshops. The institute provides data analytics support to other departments, research centres, and institutes at ISB. In an endeavour to connect theory to practice, IIDS designs and develops AI Analytics and data-based solutions for the industry to address their complex business problems.
