Welcome!

The next issue of our Newsletter is ready! This time the theme is Philanthropy in Family Business which has become an important area of attention for business families, academics and other stake holders. As always, we have included summaries of select articles published in this area and a gist of press clippings.

I am glad to inform you that we have a new arrangement with the Family Business Review, the most prestigious research journal in this space, to share summaries (Research Applied précis) of select articles published by them. You will find two such pieces in this issue of the Newsletter. We hope you will like them that will give you more insight and keep you abreast with the cutting edge research in the field. Here is the link to the same: http://ffipractitioner.org/2014/09/24/research-applied-fbr-precis-for-the-practitioner-3/. This site also has the link which takes readers to the actual articles at the SAGE website. Non-members of FFI can access the articles at SAGE for a fee or can perhaps find them through their libraries.

Hope you will find them interesting. As always, I encourage you to send your feedback and interesting articles which we can consider for inclusion in our forthcoming newsletters.

Best regards,
Ram
