Orientation Week

New students from the PGP Class of 2014 were initiated into the ISB way of life by the alumni and the staff during a weeklong orientation session of intense activities both fun-filled and serious. This annual event fosters a bond between the students and the alumni and also helps the students prepare for their year in the campus. This event was held at both the campuses, with almost 210 students participating in Mohali while over 580 students took part in the Hyderabad campus.

Among the activities was a speed networking event aimed at introducing the students to each other. Amid face painting and other fun-filled events, students met as many classmates as possible.  The several sessions were also interspersed with invaluable advice to the incoming students such as honouring the honour code, maintaining a balance between academic and extra-curricular activities, understanding the significance of elections and engaging with the eminent faculty.

Team building is a very important goal of O-week. Through games both indoors and outdoors, students learned about trust, team work and responsible leadership.

A Talent Night highlighted the flair of the incoming students in music and dance. From Bhangra and classical dance to Rock and classical music, students impressed the audience with their eclectic performances.
