The London leg of the World MBA tour is scheduled for October 13, 2007. Savita Mahajan, Associate Dean ISB, will be attending on the ISB’s behalf.

ISB Class of 2008 Accomplishments


Partha Chakrabarti’s paper has been published in the Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, the HBR of medicine.

 

 



Srinivas Chilukuri’s latest patent has been filed with the World Intellectual Property Organisation. The patent is filed under the title “Automated Application Server (as) permissions provisioning”. Srinivas is one of the inventors and the patent has been filed by his previous employer Hewlett-Packard Development Company.

 



Nitin Khanna recently had one of his papers published in Minerals and Metallurgical Processing Journal, a peer reviewed journal. The paper was co-authored with Prof M K Mohanty when Nitin did research with him at the Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.







Abhinav Manchanda participated in the National Half Marathon (21.1 km) organised by the Sports Authority of Andh
ra Pradesh on August 20, 2007. He competed with 372 participants, with the majority of them being national level long distance runners who came from all parts of the country. He received a certificate given to participants who finished the race in less than 1 hr 45 minutes. What is more commendable is that he got the 48th rank, finishing the race in 1 hr 41 minutes!






Two of Himanshu Saraf’s research papers, based on work done at The Johns Hopkins University for his MS, have been published this year.

These are prestigious international journals, particularly the Journal of Biomechanics, with an impact factor of 2.5 (which is very high for a mechanical engineering publication). This work was done in collaboration with the Applied Physics Lab at JHU.
