Tell us about yourself – your profile, recap your professional life after ISB including your career progression
Post ISB, I was with Wipro Technologies for couple of years helping a retail bank in Japan turnaround its technology and operations. Post Wipro, I have been with Fidelity for last 7.5 years, heading Technology and Operations for one of their businesses.

Describe your fondest memory at ISB
Being part of the Founding Class, I have many sweet memories. But more importantly, my daughter was only ten days old when I walked into ISB. She took her first steps at ISB and I do hope she'll walk into ISB when she grows up to pursue her MBA

With the knowledge and experience gained at ISB, when looking back, tell us something that you would have done differently while you were a student here?
The PGP programme is a fast-paced course and time flies quickly with the sheer amount of class work, case studies and group discussions that we are involved in. If I had an opportunity to re-do the programme, I would spend a lot more time with my batch mates as there are many more lessons I could learn from their experiences.

In your personal life, how have you changed post-ISB? Do you see yourself doing something differently because you went to ISB? What has left a lasting impression?
My biggest takeaway from ISB is the change in my mindset. Prior to ISB, most of the times, I looked at problems from a functional view. My ISB education has helped me look at the big picture and solve problems in a holistic manner. This approach has enabled me to take bigger strides in my career.

How do you think ISB has contributed to your career growth?
ISB as a brand is well-respected in the industry. We are always recognised by the brand of the School and it opens up many opportunities. Also, the alumnus network acts as a major support structure for all of us.

If you have to sum up ISB in one word:
Insightful

What are the areas that you can contribute in to ISB?

As an alum, I see three major ways through which we can contribute to ISB. One, by being successful in our careers and being brand ambassadors of ISB in the industry; Second,  by assisting existing students/alumnus in their careers and providing them with the required support and lastly, by participating actively in ISB events such as Solstice and /activities such as admissions, placements, etc.
