Capital Markets Conference

The Capital Markets Conference is the flagship event of the Finance Club at the Indian School of Business. The Conference endeavors to serve as a platform to discuss the opportunities and challenges for capital market investments within the bounds of the Indian regulatory environment. The Finance Club intends to bring together capital markets professionals, industry leaders, faculty and India’s brightest human capital present at the ISB during the event. This year’s discussion is centered on “The Way Ahead for Indian Capital Markets”.

ISB Leadership Summit (ILS)

The students of the ISB take great pleasure in announcing the ISB Leadership Summit to be held on December 6, 2008 at the ISB. ILS is the flagship event of the school and provides young leaders the opportunity to interact with eminent business leaders. The theme for the Summit this year is: Changing the World order.

The Strategic Management Society (SMS) is pleased to announce a special conference in India, which will be hosted by the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, in academic partnership with several leading business schools and corporations in India.

Accounting Research Conference

The Indian School of Business (ISB) is proud to host the second Accounting Research Conference from December 16–18, 2008 at the ISB. An outstanding set of papers from top researchers in Asia and North America will be presented at the conference. The conference will include a panel discussion on December 17, open to the public, on India and IFRS.

International Symposium of Information Systems

The Centre for Information Technology and the Networked Economy (CITNE) at the ISB is hosting the third International Symposium of Information Systems (ISIS 2008). Building on the spectacular success of ISIS 2007, this Symposium brings together leading academic researchers and industry thought leaders to confer and debate current unpublished work on research topics that are relevant and rigorous. Solstice-ISB Alumni Reunion

This year Solstice is planned for December 19-21, 2008. The weekend begins with student interactions and mock interviews held by alums on Friday, December 19, followed by a Welcome back party at night. Next day's highlights include: The Alum-Entrepreneur showcase, a challenging session of Bind Unwind, and to end it with a party to remember.
