Vivek Pahwa (Co2006) has been selected as Asia's Best Young Entrepreneur for 2008 out of 26 extremely accomplished entrepreneurs from the continent. Needless to say, this is a proud moment for the ISB and goes a long way in portraying the entrepreneurial spirit that exists within the school. In the past 2 years, Vivek has successfully started multiple ventures, starting with DesiMartini.com (which eventually was sold off to Hindustan Times) followed by SecondShaadi.com (India's largest matrimonial website for re-marriages) and recently Gaadi.com (India's No 2 Car portal).

Suparna Chopra (Co 2006), was featured in this month’s Business Today’s issue on the 'Most Powerful Women in Indian Business'. The BT panel featured Suparna for her entrepreneurial venture that she started working on soon after leaving the ISB which she eventually launched in mid 2007 (though typo in the article states 2006).

Ankur Warikoo, Vivek Pahwa, Umang Kumar and Bharanidharan Viswanathan from batch of 2006 have been involved with building a web company for sometime now (www.accentium.com). One of their products www.gaadi.com, launched in May this year has already become India's No 2 Car Portal. Gaadi.com has been nominated for “2008 Website of the Year Award". The Website of the Year awards are the largest annual 'people's choice' website awards and have been organised since 2004 by MetrixLab, an independent online market research agency.
