I have held several roles at Microsoft which include leading Business Group Engineering, Enterprise Application Services, and Licensing and Programmes IT.

Prior to joining Microsoft, I was working forGeneral Electric. I held multiple roles in General Electric, which included leadership of an IT hub and the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Centre of Excellence. I am a graduate of General Electric’s prestigious Experienced Information Management Programme.

I also did consulting in the US. I started my career at Tata Steel as a system trainee.

Throughout my career, I have been passionate about diversity. Currently,I lead the “Women in IT” initiativeat Microsoft.

Describe your fondest memory at ISB.
Aspart of the Founding Class of PGPMAX, each and every experience in this journey has been amazing. It is very humbling to know that our Class haspaved the path for future PGPMAX students. The learning from distinguished faculty and the interactions with peers were very enriching. The international immersion programme, especially to Brazil, was fun and reminded me of high school excursion trips.

With the knowledge and experience gained at ISB, tell us something that you will do differently in your professional life?
I would like to move into a role that involves defining the product and marketing strategy of one of our consumer products.

What are some new trends in your current work industry that can be shared as valuable knowledge-transfer?
Several trends come to mind, namely, cloud computing, consumerisation of IT, natural user interface.

If you have to sum up ISB in one word: Exhilarating

What are the areas that you can contribute to at ISB?
First and foremost, I would like to be a brand ambassador for ISB. Secondly, I would like to mentor PGP students and help out with admissions and placements.
