Tell us about yourself – your profile, recap your professional life after ISB including your career progression:
I started my career as a management trainee with Unilever India in 1995 and worked across several Unilever businesses from Beverages, Feeds, Detergents, and Hair care. I was then posted to Unilever Thailand in 2006 as the regional activation director for the Asia Pacific Region.
To pursue my entrepreneurial ambition, I relocated to India and founded Colosceum Media in 2007, and built it into one of India’s leading content development and production companies, with landmark shows such as the Wheel Smart Srimati series, Roadies & Splitsvilla franchise, Jai Shri Krisna and  Masterchef India for leading broadcasters such as Star plus, Zee, MTV.

Describe your fondest memory at ISB Singing
Singing “Aaj Unse Pehlee Mulakat Hogee” at an ISB event in the atrium is cherished memory. Recently received a mail from someone who fondly remembered this after 10 years!

With the knowledge and experience gained at ISB, when looking back, tell us something that you would have done differently while you were a student here?
I would have focused more on developing a portfolio of business plans with a clear objective of turning those into real business and on building a network with VCs to seek funding to support those.

In your personal life, how have you changed post-ISB? Do you see yourself doing something differently because you went to ISB? What has left a lasting impression?
ISB gave me a perspective that helped me think through how to make choices and the courage to pursue them. The quality of class left a lasting impression, there were some really amazing peers that continue to inspire.

How do you think ISB has contributed to your career growth?
ISB gave me an invaluable Network and a wider perspective that has helped me make better life choices. To that extent ISB has contributed more to my life than solely my career.

If you have to sum up ISB in one word: Global or World-class

What are the areas that you can contribute in to ISB?
One can help in three areas, namely, building the ISB brand through one’s professional and personal achievements, helping the School select the best assets - its students, assisting outgoing students with career opportunities, and finally, taking real business case studies to students to give them unbeatable perspectives on the industry.
