Tell us about yourself - your profile, recap your professional life after ISB including your career progression.
I am an engineer from IIT Delhi and started my career in Singapore as a software engineer with a technology startup, Accellion. As one of the earliest members, I was actively involved in transforming it from a small start-up to a successful technology company. After five years of hard work and fun at Accellion, I joined the ISB in 2005.

Post ISB, I joined Indiatimes as Chief Manager in the Corporate Strategy and Investments team. After a year-and-a-half, I moved to Google, India, in the area of corporate development for South Asia and Australia.

In 2009, I moved to the Google Headquarters in Silicon Valley and am currently a principal in its Corporate Development team. I am responsible for evaluating, negotiating and executing Google's mergers, acquisitions and investments. I have led a number of Google's key strategic acquisitions and investments in the U.S.

What was your key take-away from the ISB?
For me, ISB is where I strengthened my general management skills and made great friends. The learning outside the class was immense and interacting with successful leaders from the industry was very inspiring.

How do you think the ISB has contributed to your career growth?
ISB is a great brand name, not only in India but also worldwide. The ISB network is immensely useful and has often proven helpful throughout my career.

What is your vision for the School?
My vision is for ISB to become a great business school that is world renowned for its research in business entrepreneurship.

What are the strengths that the School can leverage upon and areas it can improve?
ISB's strength is its distinguished board and faculty. The school can improve on marketing itself outside India to attract more international students.

How do you think alums can associate with the School or alum’s role in building the School?
The alumni can spread the word about ISB’s core strengths and refer outstanding candidates for future classes.

What is the area you can contribute in?

I would like to get involved in the alumni affairs and make sure the alumni contribute to the school.
