Krishnan Kutty (Class of 2004), Head of Distribution at Star India, will now also look after the English cluster at the company. In his new role, Kutty will oversee the English entertainment channels (Star World, Star World HD, Star World Premiere HD, FX and FX HD), English movie channels (Star Movies, Star Movies HD, Star Movies Action, Star Movies Select HD), and Star India’s relationship with the Fox International Channels (FIC).Read more at -Television Post

Aakash Chaudhry (Class of 2004) produced “Rough Book”, which takes a critical look at India’s education system including examinations, student-stress and myths, IIT entrance exams, coaching classes and a whole range of other issues. Professor Kavil Ramachandran has been ranked among the 50 Best Management Thinkers from India in 2015. Currently he is the Executive Director, Thomas Schmidheiny Centre for Family Enterprise and specializes in family business, entrepreneurship and strategy. First Class of the Technology Entrepreneurship Programme (TEP) completes the course

The first class of the Technology Entrepreneurship Programme (TEP) at ISB, has graduated. TEP is designed to encourage and mentor students from various engineering colleges Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to consider entrepreneurship as a career choice. Jayesh Ranjan, IT Secretary, Government of Telangana and Ajit Rangnekar, former Dean, ISB gave away the awards to the winners of the Engineering Design Competition. Professor Sridhar Seshadri, Senior Associate Dean, Faculty and Research, ISB, Dr B Sunder- CEO, IEG, Government of Andhra Pradesh and Sujiv Nair, CEO TASK were also present at the event and gave away certificates to the graduating students.

ISB, PwC arm to set up defence industry think-tank

ISB and Strategy& (a part of PwC network) have entered into a partnership to set up an industry think-tank to drive thought leadership and impact in the Indian defence sector. An agreement to this effect was entered into on the sidelines of the ISB National Conclave held in New Delhi in December. The agreement was exchanged in the presence of Sunil Kant Munjal, Jt. Managing Director of Hero MotoCorp Ltd, Rakesh Bharti Mittal, Vice Chairman, Bharti Enterprises, Ajit Rangnekar, Dean ISB and Pradeep Singh, CEO Mohali Campus and Deputy Dean, ISB. ISB’s Mohali campus wins the ‘Times of India & Honeywell Smart Building Awards 2015’

Our Mohali campus was adjudged winner at the Times of India and Honeywell Smart Building Awards for 2015. The campus was declared the national winner in the education vertical for its sustainability, energy efficiency and safety initiatives. Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad, Union Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Government of India, was Chief Guest at the function and felicitated the winners.

ISB Students win Yes Bank Competition

Divjot Singh and Amandeep Singh from the PGP Class of 2016 won the Yes Bank Transformation Series. Participating as Team Rothschilds, they received Rs.1.5 lakh as prize money. “It’s a great competition which challenged us to think and innovate beyond boundaries on a real-world case”, said the winners. ISB National Conclave focuses on Driving India's Growth Momentum

The Conclave, which took place on 3 December in New Delhi, showcased the unique domain expertise, and the policy research and partnership capabilities of the four Institutes at ISB. Participation by distinguished speakers helped set the thematic agenda on public policy, healthcare, manufacturing and infrastructure; and panel discussions allowed for discussion across a wide range of viewpoints.
