Tell us about yourself - your profile, recap your professional life after ISB including your career progression
I joined ISB with over 7 years of experience in the technology industry. I have a background in computer science and predominantly worked in client facing roles. Post ISB, I joined Amazon.com focusing on reverse logistics in their operations department. I spent 2 years in the reverse department learning and experimenting around the domain, building and managing teams etc., For past 6 months, I have been focusing on outbound transportation in addition to reverse logistics.

What was your key take-away from the ISB?
Humility (the world is full of smart people), working in a team, time management & thinking big.
How do you think the ISB has contributed to your career growth?
Tremendously. The ISB provided the gateway to experiment with myself, ability to take risks and opened doors to move to a different unknown domain.

What is your vision for the School?
I want ISB to be a school that stresses on quality of its outgoing student community; a place where management research is the focus and a learning Mecca with global outreach.

What are the strengths that the School can leverage upon and areas it can improve?
The alumni are ISB’s strength. Also, the tie up with top B-schools is definitely a great strength. The school needs to attract top faculty to reside and do research. The school also needs to provide leadership to help the Indian economy grow as it has connections with all the right people.
