L Brooks Entwistle is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Goldman Sachs (India) Securities Private Limited, based in Mumbai. In this role he is responsible for the firm’s businesses in India. Over the span of fifteen years at Goldman Sachs, Brooks has been based in New York three times and Hong Kong twice before assuming his current position in January 2006. His previous responsibilities at the Firm include co-founding the Asia High Technology Group, serving as Chief Operating Officer for Goldman Sachs (Asia) LLC, and as a Managing Director in the Financial Sponsors Group.

Professor CK Prahalad, Ross School of Business, University of Michigan

CK Prahalad, Paul and Ruth McCracken Distinguished Professor of Strategy, University of Michigan, and one of the most influential thinkers on Business Strategy, addressed the community at the Indian School of Business (ISB). The theme of his talk was his vision of ‘India at 75’. The Confederation of Indian Industry’s (CII) ‘India at 60’ celebrations at New York saw the genesis of this vision, which focusses on what India can accomplish in the next 15 years, and more importantly, what it will take to accomplish these goals during that period.
