Tell us about yourself – your profile, recap your professional life after ISB including your career progression
I started my career at Mudra Communications then moved on to become a Product Manager at BPL Innovation Business Group, in my last assignment before joining ISB, I was the Brand Manager for Monster.com in India.  After graduating from ISB, I joined Hindustan Unilever (HUL) as a Sales Manager.

Describe your fondest memory at ISB
I learnt to work hard and play harder. I wouldn’t have learnt this elsewhere. My wife and I have met and built relationships that will last forever with the most fabulous set of people. Pool dunking and long chats under the open sky is something else I will never forget!

With the knowledge and experience gained at ISB, when looking back, tell us something that you would have done differently while you were a student here?
Actually nothing! I wouldn’t do anything differently apart from the fact that I would have taken a couple of more finance courses which I didn’t, preferring to stick to marketing & operations!

In your personal life, how have you changed post-ISB? Do you see yourself doing something differently because you went to ISB? What has left a lasting impression?
Yes I have grown as person post the ISB. Working with a set of outstanding people who were mature yet competitive, brainy yet sensitive and result driven yet collaborative within the team teaches you a lot about leading teams, resolving conflicts and deliver results through teamwork. I also learnt a lot about subjects and aspects of business which were obscure to me; and that has made me a better professional.

How do you think ISB has contributed to your career growth?

Before ISB, the pedigree was missing from my profile. Many a door opens for me with opportunities that match my capability and liking!

If you have to sum up ISB in one word: Unforgettable!

What are the areas that you can contribute in to ISB?

I work with students of the marketing club every year to help them set right expectations, capability building and gain industry exposure. I am also a campus captain for the ISB from Unilever who helps connect the recruiting managers with the students and vice versa and anchor the Marketing in Practice (MIP) program that aims at introducing application of theoretical principle to real business issues.
